Visiting Grandma

August 26, 2007 · 2 Comments

Our family was road tripping back home today (we spent a few days getting away from it all), and we decided to take the long way home so we could stop and visit my grandma (and some other family).  I don’t get to see her as often as I used to, so it was great to spend some time, however brief, catching up with her.  I know she enjoyed it too.  She’s getting older, but she still has a lot of spirit.  It’s inspiring.

I’m glad that you got to visit your grandma.
Mine passed away last year (Nov). She was always full of spirit and “on-the-go” constantly with her friends. I miss her dreadfully.

    Cherish your family.

    I’m sorry for your loss.

Spending time with family is one of those things that can be hard to make time for when you’re busy, but I’m always happy when I do. Jobs, activities, even friends can come and go, but your family is always your family.
